Jeuel’s research interests are in the field of policy formation, comparative public policy, policy transfer and the role of policy learning in Nigeria with publications in renewable energy policy. His most recent work involves the exploration of the spatial transfer of energy policy frameworks for scale up of renewable energy.

He is the Founder and CEO of Liberty Duron, a management and policy consulting firm registered in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Liberty Duron also works with a growing list of clients that include corporations, government agencies and non-profit organizations undertaking engineering procurement and construction consulting in areas of energy, renewable energy, electricity, government, economic development, human services, education, healthcare, social care and community development.

Prior to founding Liberty Duron, Jeuel obtained corporate experience and working in several organisations with a brief banking career that started at Standard Trust Bank plc. (now UBA plc) and subsequently Nationalbank of Nigeria Ltd (now Wema Bank plc) which he left to pursue further studies. He then went on to work briefly with British Telecoms before proceeding to join the Airbus Group. Liberty Duron represents his second business venture and he has maintained a professional relationship with his close friends and associates.

Jeuel holds five academic degrees including the following: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry from University of Uyo in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State that he completed in 2000; and from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen he obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in International Trade in 2006; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management; then also from the University of Aberdeen he obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Project Management. He is currently completing his PhD thesis on the Spatial Transfer of Energy Policy Frameworks in sub-Sahara Africa for scale up of Renewable Energy – Policy Learning, Divergence or Convergence at the Robert Gordon University Aberdeen. As an aspiring published writer and academic scholar, Jeuel is in the process of publishing his first book in addition to papers, articles and book chapters. Born and raised in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, He currently resides in Bristol, United Kingdom where he works as Supplier Operations Manager with Airbus Operations Limited. He is an RGU Energy Policy Scholar and has written a number of publications, in addition to working on various consultancy projects in policy and practice.
